Mark your calendars — these are some of the events for your art and soul you wouldn’t want to miss.

1. Manila Biennale

   For a whole month, Manila Biennale will transform the walled city of Intramuros into a place for arts and culture enthusiasts. Guests can visit different exhibits, attend balls, concerts, lectures, and seminars, and watch movies and theatric performances.

Manila Biennale will run from February 3 to March 5, 2018.

2. Fringe MNL

   Do you like watch daring, extravagant, and groundbreaking shows? Fringe MNL is for you. Fringe MNL is an international arts festival famous for its uncensored, unfiltered, and non-curated art performances and materials in the field of visual arts, music, dance, performance art, theater arts, and other art forms, happening in 20 venues and running over 100 shows.

Fringe MNL will run from February 7 to February 25, 2018.

3. Sticker Con MNL

   Sticker Con MNL is the country’s biggest gathering of sticker creators and collectors. Meet fellow artists and exchange stickers with other fans.

4. Virgin Labfest 14

   This is a tad bit different from the other festivals, but it can possibly help you with your story writing. Learn and get inspired! Virgin Labfest stages untried, untested, and unpublished theater plays (hence the term ‘Virgin’). No dates are out yet, but it is an annual event which usually runs mid-year.

5. South Arts Festival

   If you want something chill, this is the place for you. Have a look at over 60 booths displaying and selling a wide variety of arts and crafts.

   South Arts Festival will run on April 22, 2018.

6. Graphika Manila

   Graphika Manila is the biggest creative gathering for art enthusiasts and professionals. The two-day conference consists of series of talks and seminars aiming to equips artists and designers with skills they would need in the industry.

   Graphika Manila will run from February 3-4, 2018.

7. ComicCon Asia

   You probably guessed this one. ComicCon Asia is the largest gathering of comic book fans and creators “where the best of comics, movies, series, manga, anime, toys, gaming, and cosplay all come together.” Get to meet fellow comic artists and fans and attend workshops. There will be competitions and, of course, merchandising of comic books. Learn and connect!

   ComicCon Asia will run from March 24-25, 2018.

8. Art Fair Philippines

   Art Fair Philippines is one of the largest events for exhibiting and selling of contemporary art in the country. Besides viewing paintings and art installations, guests can sign up for the talks and lectures.
